As of July 1, 2012, our district boundaries have changed. Per federal law, redistricting happens every 10 years,  to keep up with population and demographic shifts. We were very happy to see the final maps keeping the heart of the San Fernando Valley largely intact, allowing us to represent all of the Lake Balboa and Panorama City neighborhoods. We look forward to working with these communities, and also with our new constituents... (See map)

Council District 6 Special Election

A Special Election has been called to fill the vacancy in CD 6. The Special Election will be held on May 21, 2013 - concurrent with City's General Municipal Election.

The Special Runoff Election, if required, will be held on July 23, 2013.
